Dieser Mode- Blog bietet Auseinandersetzung mit den unterschiedlichsten Spielarten von Modeströmungen. Ich möchte herzlich einladen die Vitalität von Mode zu entdecken. Als Zeichen dieser Vitalität stehen Verknüpfungen zu verwandten kreativen Disziplinen, wie U- und E- Musik, Grafikdesign, Architektur und das große Feld der bildenden Künste, aber auch ungewöhnliche Kontexte, wie Philosophie, Psychologie, Literatur und die Kunst des Kochens.

Grundlegend in der Kleiderkommunikation ist die inhaltliche Zusammengehörigkeit von Style, Farbigkeit und Materialität. Dabei beschreibe und analysiere ich den  kompletten Look, aber auch einzelne Kleidertypen, in der Stofflichkeit und der Sinnlichkeit des Taktilen und der Haptik, sowie der Farbigkeit mit Farbpsychologie und Farbbedeutung, bis hin zu Handwerk und Verarbeitung von Kleidung.

In der Mode ist die westlich geprägte Kleidertradition das stabilste System, das wir kennen. Jahrhundertelang arbeitete man an Kleideraussagen, Kleidertraditionen, Funktionen, soziokulturellen Bedeutungen, sowie Präsentations- als auch Repräsentationsformen.
